How it works
Setup takes three steps and no change to how your team already joins Huddles.
- Install HuddlePace from the Add to Slack button.
- Run
/pacein a channel, choose a duration and split it into agenda modules by percentage. The modules must add up to 100%. - Start the session from App Home. The progress bar appears in the Huddle thread and updates every 30 seconds.
What your team sees during the call
- A monospace progress bar with the current topic and the time remaining.
- A private Slack DM to the active speaker at the midpoint and again with one minute left.
- A Next Module button so a speaker who finishes early hands the leftover time to the next topic.
- A Just Chatting mode that freezes the formal metrics when the meeting turns into open conversation.
- A final summary comparing scheduled and actual duration once everyone leaves the Huddle.
Commands
/paceopens the scheduling modal./pace statusshows the pacing sessions running in the channel./pace report 30shows timebox adherence for the last 30 days./pace cleardeletes past bot DMs sent to you./pace helplists the syntax.
Zero audio, by design
HuddlePace never records or transcribes a call. It keeps only timestamps and the agenda modules it needs to run the timer. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Pricing
HuddlePace is in early access and free today. Pricing will be per workspace, never per user, and the features available today stay free.
